The dynamic syllabus is reviewed biannually by a board of studies and ratified by the university’s Academic Council and Indian Nursing Council. Since 2005 the curriculum has followed the revised Indian Nursing Syllabus ,which has the latest inputs. This ensures that students get a balance of session and activities that include social work for all-round development. The hospital gives hands on training while regular field visits keep students on their feet.
The undergraduates program provides an understanding of the health sciences , management, education, research and sciences. They postgraduate program gives addition skills in administrative and management areas, while allowing students to specialize in medical, surgical, community health, paediatric, obstetrics and gynaecology, and psychiatric nursing. |
